Homemade Tahini Sauce

1 c raw sesame seeds (rinsed)

1 c clean water

1/4 c extra virgin olive oil

3 T fresh squeezed lemon juice

3-4 cloves of garlic

1 1/2 t salt (Himalayan or sea salt)

*all organic

Add all ingredients into blender and blend. Adjust amount of water depending on your desire of a thicker spread or a creamier sauce.

I made my double batch thick and then put some in a separate jar, added water, shook up until mixed and added chopped fresh parsley. I took that jar with a pan of roasted cauliflower to a dinner party.

This Homemade Tahini Sauce is so versatile. It can be used as a dip, a sauce over veggies, meat, bowls, rice, almost anything. The health benefits of sesame seeds is endless. This superfood helps with digestion, anti-aging, skin, bones & teeth, blood pressure, and a good source of energy.
